To Manchester, VT from points south:
Pick your favorite way to get to the New York State Thruway. For those coming from Pennsylvania, take the New Jersey Turnpike North to I-287 North. This will lead into I-87 North, NY State Thruway.
It's about 2.5 hours to Albany once you get on the Thruway. At Albany, take exit 23, I-787 North (pay toll). Stay on I-787 for about 8 miles. Take NY Rte. 7 East toward Bennington/Hoosick Falls. Turns into a local road about 1 minute after you get on it. (about 30 - 40 mins into Bennington). Changes into VT Rt 9 along the way. In Bennington (look for white church), follow signs to US Rte. 7 North. Take US Rte. 7 North and get off at VT Rte. 11/30 - Manchester (about 30 mins). DO NOT GET OFF AT ARLINGTON Rte. 7A (there's a misleading sign which says "Manchester Village"). Follow directions to your inn below.
To the Wilburton Inn: (802) 362-2500
At the end of the exit, make a left turn onto Vt. Route 11/30 West/North. Proceed into Manchester, past factory outlets on both sides. You'll come to a T, with two, blinking red lights (Polo store on left). Make a left turn onto Vt. Route 7A South. You'll pass several more outlets (Van Heusen, Movado, etc.), and come to a traffic circle. Go halfway around the circle, and stay on Route 7A. You'll pass Orvis, Mulligans (on the left), Inn at Manchester (on the right). Road will bend to the left, and the Equinox Hotel will be on your right. About 2/10 mile further, make a left onto River Rd. About 9/10 mile down the road, look for Wilburton driveway (and sign) on the left side, as road curves to the right. Driveway is long, uphill, and curves to left; drive carefully!.
To the Manchester View Motel: (802) 362-2739
At the end of the exit, make a left turn onto Vt. Route 11/30 West/North. Proceed into Manchester, past factory outlets on both sides. You'll come to a T, with two, blinking red lights (Polo store on left). Make a right turn onto Vt. Route 7A North. About 1.2 miles down the road, you'll see the motel and sign on the right. On the way, you'll pass Candelero's, Ye Olde Tavern, Aspen Motor Lodge, the Synagogue (all on left).

To Church From Wilburton:
Turn right out of hotel driveway onto River Rd. Follow road until it ends. Turn right onto Vt. Route 7A North. Follow into Manchester. Go halfway around traffic circle and stay on route 7A. Go through intersection with double blinking yellow lights (Timberland store on right). Make first left onto Route 30 North (follow signs). Follow directions under "To Church from Manchester" below.
To Church From Manchester View Motel:
Take Route 7A South into Manchester (just over 1 mile). You'll pass Candelero's on the right. Then you'll see a Rite Aid and Chittenden Bank on right. After that, turn right on Vt. Route 30 North (follow signs). If you come to a major intersection with double blink yellow lights, you've gone too far. Follow directions under "To Church from Manchester" below.
To Church From Manchester:
Follow Vt. Route 30 North about 10 minutes. Look for signs for Dorset. When you see signs for the Barrows House and Cornucopia, you're getting close. Make left onto Church Street, and stay to the right as you go around Dorset Green (flagpole in middle). You'll see the Dorset Inn on the right after you make the turn, and Peltier's Market on the left. You will have gone too far on Route 30 if: 1) you see a golf course on the left. 2) you see signs for East Rupert, Pawlet, Route 315. Church is about 2/10 mile down Church St. on the left, across from entrance to Dorset Field Club. The United Church of Dorset. There are TWO parking lots in back of church. Or, park along Church St.

To Reception From Church:
Turn right out of church parking lot, and head towards Route 30. Turn right onto Route 30 South. Follow for about 10 minutes, into Manchester. As you come into Manchester, you'll come to a pair of blinking red lights (bookstore on right). Turn right, and go through intersection with double blinking yellow lights. You're now on Route 7A south. Go halfway around traffic circle and continue on 7A south. You'll pass Orvis (on left), Mulligans (on left), the Inn at Manchester (on right). Road bends to left. You'll go past the Equinox Hotel (big hotel on right). About 2/10 mile past the Equinox, turn left on River Road. About 9/10 mile down the road, look for Wilburton driveway (and sign) on the left side, as road curves to the right. Driveway is long, uphill, and curves to left; drive carefully!.
